About Us
A Brief HistoryThe bank was originally chartered as
First National Bank in 1900 with its only office located in
Madison, Kansas. This office, which is in Greenwood County,
was the bank's only office for 90 years. A second office
located in Emporia, Lyon County, Kansas was opened in 1990. In October 1997, the
name of the bank was changed to First Community Bank under a
state charter.
A third office located in Emporia (Lyon County), Kansas was purchased in May 2006. Our main office is located
at 715 Merchant, Emporia, KS 66801. |
